This really needs a better title, but I'm still cooking that up. So much goes into these pieces, and a title can be so trite. Or so woo-woo deep. This is a portrait of someone who is learning about the wonders of the woods. She knows she is surrounded by the simple yet complicated beauty of Nature. The thrush is laying her eggs, and the purple Hepatica is blooming. That's a piece of grandma's lace there, along the edge.......
